Help using Synergy

Synergy is designed to be straightforward. These answers cover common questions about using the directory.

Customers

Why do I need an account to search?

Synergy is a private directory. Provider Profiles and search results are available only to authenticated and authorised Customers.

Can I post a job for Providers to bid on?

No. Customers search existing Provider supply and choose a particular Provider they would like to contact.

How do I contact a Provider?

After signing in and finding a suitable Provider, you can send that Provider a one-to-one enquiry through Synergy.

Does Synergy choose the best Provider for me?

No. Synergy helps you discover Providers. You decide who may suit your needs and what checks you want to make.

Providers

Can a business list on Synergy?

A Provider Listing must represent an identifiable adult who personally performs or materially participates in the advertised services.

A sole trader or very small owner-operated service may fit this model. Synergy is not a general business directory or labour-hire platform.

Does paying for a Listing guarantee work?

No. Payment purchases eligible directory-publication entitlement. It does not guarantee enquiries, work, income or a particular search position.

Does Synergy take commission?

No. Customers and Providers manage payment for their work directly between themselves.

Work arranged after an introduction

Does Synergy manage bookings or jobs?

No. Synergy enables the introduction. Customers and Providers manage the work themselves.

Does Synergy decide whether a Provider is licensed for my job?

No. Providers are responsible for ensuring they are legally entitled to perform work they accept. Customers should make checks appropriate to the service they require.

Does Synergy resolve ordinary disputes about completed work?

Synergy does not ordinarily adjudicate workmanship, price, schedules, private contracts or payment disputes arising from work arranged between a Customer and Provider.
